Aim of the project
The main aim of the project is to gain, by using comparative analysis, better overview of initial and further education contents (outcomes) in occupations in which the most frequent cross-border job mobility within the partner countries (Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia) is realized.
Analysis of the education contents will be carried out on the basis of the list of occupations, in which job migration is the most often. The comparison will be accompanied by interviews with the target countries´ employers, in order to get feedback and recommendations for amendments to appropriate training in the home countries.
Summary of the project
The project is concentrated on comparative analysis of of initial and further education contents (outcomes) in occupations in which the most frequent cross-border job mobility within the partner countries (Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia) is realized.
The project starts with the identification of occupations with the highest job mobility rate among partner-countries, with focus on border regions and cross-border job migration. Increase of job mobility among partner countries brings out the question whether of synergies or differences in the preparation for relevant occupations within initial and further education, and how they can be identified. It can be assumed that the higher rate of reciprocal compliance of vocational preparation in the same occupations in different countries is, so the easier job migration among partner countries and shorter adaptation for new job environment is.
Comparison of the results from IVET and CVET will be obtained by using the common method and by using common criteria.
To obtain complex view on the topic, it is necessary to understand the opinion and experience of employers of such workers and to get their recommendations how to change the relevant vocational education in the home countries. Significant employers, whose employees are from the partner countries and work on the selected job positions, will be interviewed.
On the basis of the obtained data by using the above methods, the recommendations to the approval of the initial and further education results will be suggested, as well as possible proposals to the content and the range of the education for chosen professions in the partner countries.

In the relevant cross-border regions, the project results will be used mainly as an input for the ongoing dialogue with existing and potential employers and labour market institutions for awareness raising about ongoing adaptation of VET programmes in the neighbouring countries as well as needs for adapting national educational systems.
The project leads to deepened cross-border networking and cooperation regarding VET systems.
